Yoga for Beginners will focus on moving mindfully and slowly in order to build strength and mobility throughout the entire body. This class is perfect for the student wishing to develop or improve body awareness, physical recovery, agility, endurance, and mindfulness.
We will move with intention to create stability and balance by practicing poses that help to promote flexibility, muscular and bone strength, as well as the mind-body connection. The instructor will walk you through standing poses, seated poses, reclining poses, and breathing techniques
Perfect for beginners, ALL levels are welcome!
New to Yoga?
Dress in comfortable clothing that allows full range of motion: fitted, stretchy clothing is helpful.
Students will need to bring two yoga blocks and a yoga mat or small blanket (wool/Mexican style).
Feel free to bring a water bottle and a towel, if desired.
