The Top Performer Award is based on the percentage of patients who rate the provider as 9 or 10 for the Overall Provider Rating question. If the corresponding percentile ranking is at or above the 100th percentile, the provider will receive a Top Performer award.

5-Star recognition is determined by evaluating the top box scores of two questions: Overall Quality of Care (% Excellent) and Overall Hospital Rating (% 9-10). If the corresponding percentile ranking for either of these questions is at or above the 90th percentile, the facility or unit will receive a 5-Star award. All providers who achieved a ranking of 90.0 or higher during the calendar year 2022 have met the criteria to receive PRC’s 5-Star designation.
