MOUNT PLEASANT – Art Reach of Mid Michigan is hosting exhibitions in the Morey Family Gallery, located inside of Art Reach. The exhibitions are always free and open to the public. The gallery is open Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm and Saturday from 10am-4pm. Each exhibition will include an artist reception, which is also free and open to the public. Art Reach is dedicated to keeping the arts alive and accessible, and gallery exhibitions for the community is one of the ways we meet that goal. The following are exhibitions in the Morey Family Gallery for the first quarter of 2025:

· Art Reach Instructor/Student Show – January 13-31; artist reception – Thursday, Jan. 16 from 5-6:30pm. This exhibition features the works of students and teachers at Art Reach over the past year.

· “Take Me to the River” by Tina Vivian – February 5-26; artist reception – Thursday, Feb. 6 from 5-6:30pm. This exhibition features plein air painting from the parks of the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy, where she and her husband spend time enjoying their pastimes of painting and fishing.

· “Traffic Circles” by Edward “Ted” Evans – March 5-27; artist reception – Thursday, March 6 from 5-6:30pm. This exhibition features a creative window into the experience of traffic circles, aka round-abouts, as an artistic 3D installation.

Art Reach Executive Director Amy Powell stated, “Offering free art through our gallery space is one of the many amenities we bring to the community. Access to art should not be just for those who have resources to travel to art exhibitions in big cities, it should be for everyone. We take pride in knowing we are offering interesting, unique and thought-provoking art exhibitions for free. This also offers artists an amazing opportunity to display for art for all of the community!”
