Mt. Pleasant, MI — Art Reach of Mid Michigan is celebrating 45 years of inspiring creativity, connection, and community through a series of free, drop-in events highlighting the organization’s impact and history.
For 45 years, Art Reach of Mid Michigan has made the arts accessible to all, growing from a grassroots effort into a vibrant community hub that brings people together through creativity, fostering connection, expression, and belonging across generations while reaching thousands each year through classes, events, and public art initiatives. As the sole arts non-profit in Isabella County, Art Reach serves a critical need for everyone in the community.
The 45th anniversary celebration includes a special gallery exhibition featuring highlights from throughout the organization’s history, showcasing the artists, programs, and moments that have shaped Art Reach over the years.
In addition to the exhibition, the community is invited to participate in two special events:
- A Cake & Crafts celebration from noon–2 pm Saturday, April 18, offering hands-on art activities and a chance to celebrate with sweet treats in a family-friendly setting.
- A Cocktail Hour on Thursday, April 23, serving as a closing celebration for the anniversary exhibition and an opportunity to gather, reflect, and connect.
“Reaching 45 years is a testament to the power of community and creativity,” said Amy Powell, Executive Director. “Art Reach has always been about making the arts accessible to everyone, and it’s incredible to see how that mission continues to grow and evolve.”
Art Reach of Mid Michigan continues to serve the region through classes, public art initiatives, gallery exhibitions, and community events designed to make the arts accessible to all.
