In person at Life Unplugged, 100 E. Broadway St. Mount Pleasant, MI 48858 

Pay: $14/hr

Hours: Part or Full Time - Open 8am-4pm M-F (Some Saturdays)

Life Unplugged is a lifestyle clothing company with the main mission to encourage others to unplug from technology to be present with those they care most about. 11% of our net profits are donated to families of children who are born with a congenital heart defect–the leading cause of infant death. We sell online and in stores across the country and world. We have a retail/manufacturing facility in Mount Pleasant, MI, which is where this job will take place.

 

Job Summary: 

 

As a Production Assistant, you’ll join our mission-driven team to help produce, package, and ship apparel You’ll be trained on equipment, processes, and quality standards—no experience needed. We just need team-first workers with a great attitude.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Pressing shirts and hats using heat press equipment

  • Stocking shelves and organizing inventory

  • Fulfilling online orders (picking/packing)

  • Stacking orders

  • Unloading deliveries 

  • Quality control checks on apparel and prints

  • General production support as needed

Requirements

  • Available Nov 10–Dec 30 (No work on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas)

  • Ability to work flexible hours (20–40 hours/week)

  • Willingness to work overtime during peak weeks

  • Reliable transportation

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Can lift 20–40 lbs

  • Able to stand for extended periods

  • Positive attitude & willingness to learn

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Past warehouse, retail, or production experience

  • Familiarity with apparel or heat pressing

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
