IT Services Technician

Level: Intermediate - Advanced
Location: Hybrid - Remote / Onsite
Type: Permanent Full-time
Hours: 8AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday

Reports to: IT Services Manager

Pay Rate: Hourly and Based on Experience and Skill Level

Overview:

  • Member of the support team which is responsible for the management of client IT environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Resolve escalated tickets and alerts from tier 1 support team.
  • Resolve requests from projects team.
  • Maintain client IT environments through proactive maintenance.
  • Submit change control requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Contribute to written procedures, knowledge base, and client documentation.
  • Improve team efficiency by contributing new ideas.
  • Accurately track time in ticketing system and submit weekly time sheets.

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced issues with unfamiliar systems and software.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Willingness to develop professionally.
  • Effectively communicate by telephone and through email.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent.

Advanced knowledge of:

  • Server Hardware
  • Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems
  • Microsoft HyperV
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Basic IP Subnetting
  • Firewalls and VPN
  • Switching including Spanning Tree and VLANs
  • Wireless Networking
  • Backup and Recovery
  • Microsoft EntraID and Intune

Required Experience:

  • Information Technology: 5 Years
  • Computer Hardware: 5 Years
  • Network Management: 5 Years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
