Position Overview:
We are seeking a CAD Drafter to support laser and CNC plasma operations. This role focuses on creating and revising flat plate (2-D) layouts based on customer-provided sketches, plans, and prints. This is an on-site position and requires regular communication with management, the shop floor, and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Create and revise 2-D flat plate layouts for laser and CNC plasma tables
• Develop designs from customer sketches, plans, and prints
• Use AutoCAD, ProNest, and BySoft CAM
• Communicate regularly with management, shop personnel, and customers regarding new and revised designs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years on the job experience with 2D/3D CAD and nesting software (training provided for company-specific software)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements
• Proficient with tape measure and precision measuring tools
• High level of accuracy with close attention to detail
• Must be able to work on-site in the office (this is not a remote position)

Pay:

• Starting wage based on experience, starting from $20 per hour
• Starting wage negotiable within reasonable means
