Compensation: $13-$17 per hour DOQ

 

Position Summary: The Porter plays a vital role in the daily operations of a collision repair shop by ensuring vehicles are moved efficiently and safely around the facility, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and supporting technicians and staff in shop logistics.

---Key Responsibilities:

· Move vehicles in and out of the shop, paint booth, detail bay, and parking areas

· Clean interiors/exteriors of vehicles pre and post-repair (basic detailing)

· Assist with picking up and dropping off customer vehicles when needed

· Maintain cleanliness of the shop floor, common areas, customer waiting area, and exterior lot

· Dispose of trash and shop waste in compliance with safety standards

· Support technicians with parts organization, delivery receiving, and general shop duties

· Perform lot checks to ensure proper vehicle organization and documentation

· Fuel vehicles when required

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Ability to safely operate all makes and models of vehicles

· Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness

· Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

· Able to work in varying weather conditions

· Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and be on feet for extended periods
