   Art Reach Murder Mystery: An Evening of Intrigue, Glamour, and Suspense

The Art Reach Murder Mystery Fundraiser has become one of the community’s most anticipated annual events. What began as a thrilling dinner theater experience in 2022 quickly captured the imagination of attendees, growing into a cherished tradition of mystery, suspense, and fun.

Each year, guests are transported to a unique setting, donning themed attire and working together to solve a captivating crime. From glamorous masquerade balls to retro sock hops, these immersive evenings feature exciting storylines, memorable performances, and a chance to showcase your sleuthing skills—all while supporting Art Reach of Mid Michigan.

At these events, guests can immerse themselves in an interactive mystery, enjoy a themed atmosphere with costumes and décor, participate in silent auctions and raffles, and indulge in a cocktail hour, a cash bar, and a buffet-style dinner. The evening is designed to be as entertaining as it is mysterious.

Looking Ahead: 2025 Murder Mystery

Mark your calendars! On Friday, May 2, 2025, Art Reach will host A Dance With Death: A 1950s Sock Hop Gone Sour at Mid Michigan College’s Community Room. Get ready to twist, jive, and uncover the truth at this retro-themed evening of fun and fundraising. Dust off your saddle shoes and leather jackets—it’s going to be a killer night!

Whether you’re a seasoned sleuth or a first-time participant, the Murder Mystery Fundraiser is an unforgettable experience. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the intrigue while supporting creativity in our community.
 

This 1950’s prom is a doo wop disaster! When a death on the dance floor makes this prom night a party foul, it is up to you to figure out whodunit and get this dance back on track. Trade clues with your guests, gather information about the crime, and reveal the punk that made this prom nowheresville. This night of laughter and dancing is now too heavy to razz anyone’s berries, so it’s up to you to find the murderer!

Word from the bird is this is one show you will not want to miss. This night is shootin’ to be swell despite the disaster. Ladies, bows and pins in your hair will go nicely with your puffy sleeved prom gowns. Gents, you will look sharp in white and black suits or tuxes. Get ready to put on your thinking caps; you’ll need your wits about you to solve this crime.

This murder mystery dinner theater will be held May 2, 2025 at 6pm in the Community Meeting Room at Mid Michigan College.  A buffet dinner and cash bar is available.  Peruse the silent auction items, solve a mystery and support Art Reach of Mid Michigan at our 4th Annual Murder Mystery Fundraiser.
