Join the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce for this family-friendly pre-game tailgate party! 🏈📣 Enjoy game-day snacks and beverages, and fantastic networking, before cheering on the CMU Chippewas at their first home game of the 2025 season! 🔥⬆️

The Chamber Tailgate Party is FREE to attend, outside of the parking pass you will need to park on CMU's campus. You will need to purchase tickets for the September 20th game through CMU Athletics if you would like to enter the stadium.

Event Details!
📅 Saturday, September 20th
🕐 11:00 am - 12:45 pm
📍 Tailgate | Alumni Island (between Lot 62W and Lot 62E)
🍗 Boneless wings will be provided by Buffalo Wild Wings and pulled pork with bread will be provided by Texas Roadhouse
🪑 Seating will be limited; please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets!

Tailgate Lots Open: 9:00 am
Chamber Tailgate Party: 11:00 am to 12:45 pm
Kick-Off: 1:00 pm

Registration & Purchasing Tickets for September 20th Game
*You will need to purchase tickets for the September 20th game through CMU Athletics if you would like to enter the stadium.

🎟️ $15 General Admission Ticket (normal price: $20)
🚗 $23 per parking pass (purchased beforehand) | $25 parking pass (purchased day of)

Purchasing Tickets & Parking Passes

1. Visit https://cmich.evenue.net/

2. Click Enter Promo Code (top right corner). Type CHAMBERTG into the promo code text box.

4. This will take you to the Sept. 20 CMU Football game – Chamber of Commerce Tailgate Promo.

5. Click the "Buy Now"

6. Choose any of the darker gray seating sections

Sections L-T are general admission ($15)
Sections A-D and H-K are reserved seats ($19)

7. Select your seats (they will turn green once confirmed).

8. Once all seats are selected, click Continue to Checkout.
9. Parking passes can also be purchased as well.

10. Sign into your CMU Athletics ticket account or create one to finish the purchase.

Accessing Tickets & Parking Passes
Tickets and parking passes will be distributed digitally. The information below is
1. Go to cmich.evenue.net/signin
2. Enter your email and click Continue.

If you’ve set a password, log in with it.
Or choose Sign In with a Code to receive a one-time code.

3. Unsure if you have an account?

Click Create Account and fill in your info.
If your email already has an account, you’ll see an error—go back to Sign In, then use a one-time code or select Forgot Password.
If no account exists, your new account will be created.

4. For easiest access, sign in on your smartphone and add tickets to your digital wallet before arriving.

Bag Policy

To enhance security and speed up entry, Central Michigan has implemented a clear bag policy for all football games. Each spectator may bring:

One clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12"
One small handbag/clutch no larger than 4.5" x 6.5"

Tailgating & Parking Guidelines

1. Display parking permits clearly from the rearview mirror at all times.

2. Follow instructions from police officers and parking personnel. Vehicles in fire lanes, aisle ends, or other restricted areas will be ticketed and/or towed. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces may not be reserved for later-arriving vehicles unless authorized by the CMU Athletics Dept.

3. Vehicles may only occupy one space. Tailgating items may not block adjacent spaces.

4. Tailgating is permitted from 4 hours before kickoff until kickoff only. No tailgating during the game, halftime, or postgame.

5. Michigan laws regarding alcohol and controlled substances will be enforced. Kegs, glass containers, and mass quantities of alcohol are prohibited.

6. Alcohol is only allowed in designated tailgating areas determined by CMU Police.

7. Drinking games or activities that encourage excessive alcohol consumption are prohibited.

8. Large trucks, vehicles with trailers, and buses are not permitted without prior written approval.

9. Large grills on wheels and open fires are prohibited without prior written approval.

10. No animals (except service animals) are allowed.

11. External sound systems require pre-approval from CMU Police. Sound permits: 989-774-3081.
