Highstreet Mt. Pleasant Agency and McArthur Insurance Agency Celebrate 6th Annual Giving Tuesday
MT. PLEASANT, Mich., December 2, 2025 — In the spirit of giving and in recognition of Giving Tuesday, Mt. Pleasant Agency and McArthur Insurance Agency are giving away $6,000 to organizations in the central Michigan area. This is the sixth year the agencies have celebrated Giving Tuesday in this way.
The agencies’ Giving Tuesday project began in 2020 because of the awareness that COVID-19 had a profound impact on schools and non-profit organizations, which had to postpone major fundraisers that year.
This year, 12 organizations each receive $500. The 2025 recipients are:
- Art Reach of Mid Michigan
- Chippewa River District Library
- Community Cancer Services of Isabella County
- Community Compassion Network
- Foster Closet of Isabella County
- Isabella County Child Advocacy Center
- Joshua’s House
- Love, Inc. Gratiot County
- Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation: Kelly’s Kids Fund
- Nottawa Sherman Fire Department
- Rosebush Ecumenical Assistance Program (REAP)
- SpringHill Camps (camper scholarships)
Each organization was selected internally by the staff at Mt. Pleasant Agency and McArthur Insurance Agency. Each organization will be spotlighted on the Highstreet Mt. Pleasant Agency facebook page to include how they serve the community and what they plan to use the funds for. The project is supported in part by Frankenmuth Insurance out of Frankenmuth, Michigan.
