Join the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce for the 69th Annual Awards Banquet. This annual fundraiser is a night of celebration to recognize the incredible achievements of our business owners, community leaders, and selfless volunteers who make us "Lucky to Be in Mt. Pleasant."

$50 for former Citizen of the Year Award winners
🎩 Dress Code: Business formal/semi-formal attire is recommended

- Option 1: Roasted Garlic Chicken: Pan seared chicken breast with a roasted garlic cream sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, wax beans & carrots.
- Option 2: Teriyaki Pork Lion: Grilled pork loin marinated with teriyaki glaze
served with rice pilaf & stir fry vegetable blend - Option 3: Vegetarian* pasta tossed in a creamy alfredo sauce with
broccoli, topped with Parmesan Cheese

Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award
One truly remarkable citizen will be honored with the Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award. This is the highest honor the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce bestows on an individual, and the awardee is kept a secret until the night of the ceremony.
Legacy Award
One long-standing Chamber Member will be presented with the Legacy Award. This award is bestowed to an established Chamber Member who have contributed significantly to the Chamber of Commerce initiatives and their community.
Large and Small Business Awards
Two Mt. Pleasant Chamber Members will be honored with the Large and Small Business Awards. These awards are given to Chamber Member businesses that have demonstrated significant support of the Chamber of Commerce initiatives and involvement in the community. These organizations have dedicated resources in the form of financial support, employee volunteer hours, and/or leadership to improve the quality of life in Isabella County.
Economic Impact Award
One business will be recognized with the Economic Impact Award, sponsored and chosen by Middle Michigan Development Corporation. This award is bestowed upon a company that strives to positively impact the quality of life in Isabella County.
Innovation Award
One business will be recognized with the Innovation Award, sponsored and chosen by CMURC. This award is bestowed upon a company that seeks to embrace the entrepreneurial spirit and creates profound and positive impacts on their community.
Rising Star Community Impact Award
One individual will be honored with the Rising Star Community Impact Award. This award acknowledges an individual who is a "rising star" in their service to the community. This individual actively works to improve the quality of life in Isabella County; contributes to the community through volunteerism, career, and community support; and establishes events, programs or initiatives benefiting Isabella County community members.
Shirley M. Decker Eagle Awards
Exceptional community service club and nonprofit organization volunteers who have "soared" above and beyond will be honored with the Shirley M. Decker Eagle Awards.
Ambassador of the Year Award
This award is bestowed upon a Chamber Ambassador who has shown tremendous dedication to the Chamber of Commerce initiatives and advocacy efforts.
Charles E. Anthony Award
The award recognizes an outstanding Chamber Board Member for exemplary volunteer service to the community, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber Staff. The award was created to acknowledge one of the Chamber’s most dedicated volunteers, Charles Anthony, and is given to a Chamber Board Member whose volunteerism reflects similar dedication.
Past Board Chair
This award is bestowed upon the outgoing board chair of the Chamber of Commerce in recognition of their significant contributions and dedication to the Chamber of Commerce initiatives and advocacy work.
Young Professional of the Year Award
The honor of this award goes to an individual who has been actively engaged in the Young Professionals Network and the Chamber of Commerce.
