You will learn fascinating things about your ancestors like when they came to America\, where they came from\, the struggles they had to endure\, their successes\, occupations\, medical histories\, and much more. You will also learn what free websites can be researched from home.\n\nThings to bring with you:\n\n\n	Paper\n	Pencils\n	Any known family information of yourself\, parents\, grandparents\, ect.---Where they were born\, lived\, and nationality.\n\nYou will be provided genealogy forms that will help you organize your family tree. The more experienced researchers should bring their ancestor charts.\n\n\n\n\nInstructor\nBill Boyd & Barb Curtindale\n\nBill Boyd and Barb Curtindale are co-instructors of this class. Barb is the President of the Gladwin County Historical Society\, President of the Harrison Area Genealogical Society\, Historian of the Michigan Council\, and has over 45 years of experience in researching genealogy. Bill has nearly 15 years of experience in research and is the Vice-President of the Gladwin County Genealogy Society and is a member of the World Research team. Both Bill and Barb taught genealogy at the Gladwin Middle School for three years.
