\n The new I-9 form\, used to verify the identity and citizenship or employment authorization of hires\, includes significant changes to the form and instructions\, including: \n\n \n - A reduction of Sections 1 and 2 to a one-page creation of Supplements A and B for preparers/translators and reverifications/rehires.
\n - A checkbox for employers enrolled in E-Verify to indicate they remotely examined identity and employment authorization documents under a newly authorized alternative procedure.
