You can expect to hear about community events during our Speedy Seconds\, learn about New Chamber Members and applaud outstanding individuals who are Movin' On Up! Plus\, there are always fun prizes to be won! So join us for a delicious breakfast\, some HOLIDAY fun and lots of community info!\n\n \n\nOpportunity to Give to Those in Need in our Community!\n\nThe Chamber will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items and personal & household care items for those in need right here in our community at both the 2018 Holiday BOB and Holiday BAH events. Food items will go to the Community Compassion Network food pantry\, and personal & household care items will go to The Care Store\, both housed in the new Strickler Nonprofit Center.\n\n\n\nExamples of Care Store Donations:\n\nPersonal hygiene products including toothpaste\, toothbrushes\, shaving items\, deodorant (men's & women's)\, lotion (men's & women's)\, body wash (men's & women's)\, cotton swabs\, incontinence pads\, and more. Most-needed household care products include laundry detergent\, trash bags and toilet paper.\n\n\n\nHealthy Food Item Donation Ideas: Canned beans\; dry beans\; peanut butter or other nut butters\; rolled oats\; canned fruit in juice\, not in light or heavy syrup\; canned vegetables (with no or low-sodium)\; low-sodium soups\; canned tuna in water\; canned chicken\; brown rice\; quinoa\; nuts (unsalted)\; seeds (unsalted)\; shelf-stable milk and milk substitutes\; whole grain pasta\; low-sodium pasta sauce\; popcorn kernels (not microwave popcorn)\; canned stews\; unsweetened applesauce\; whole grain\, low-sugar cold cereals\; olive or canola oil\; canned tomatoes\; dried fruits (no sugar added)\; honey\; and chicken\, beef and vegetable broths and stock.\n\n\n\nThank you for your generosity!
